Summer Pool Party a Big Splash!

The Upside-Down-T held it's Summer Pool Party August 20, and not only was it well attended, but well fed. New neighbors got to meet long time neighbors, and splash round Dotty and Cindy's swimming pool. Can't wait till the December Holiday Party.

Khadija Anderson Spreads the word for a "Curbside Organics Collection"

Khadija Anderson at 134 W Palm has alerted the "T" to a meeting May 21 about composting and how we might be able to rely on it in our neighborhood.

Cat Available on the Upside-down-T from Iris at 34 W Palm

Iris & Chris A'Hirataro at 34 W. Palm have a cat which needs a new home.

Iris wrote me saying "I have a cat for whom I would love to find a new home. She is a two year old and is very peaceful. I think she would do better in a home without children because she love quietness."

Upside-Down-T Annual Holiday Party a GREAT Success

The Upside-Down-T celebrated it's nearly 20th year with a great holiday party December 4.

Dog Hit and killed by speeding car on Fair Oaks

Last night, a speeding car coming down Fair Oaks hit a baby Chihuahua, leaving it in the street bleeding and crying for help. Neighbors on the La Corona-Palm St Upside-Down-T rescued the dog and hat it transported by the L.A. Animal Control to a vet in El Monte.

We were informed this morning that due to extreme injuries and multiple fractures, the dog had to be put down.
